The Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), which was published in the Official Gazette dated April 7, 2016, and numbered 29677, and entered into force, has legalized the processing and protection of personal data, imposing heavy responsibilities and obligations, especially for companies processing the data of employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties.
